Job summary

Brunswick is a global marine leader seeking an Assembly Technician to build components for inboard and outboard engines using air tools and setup/changeover equipment. You will inspect parts, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and work closely with teammates to hit production targets while following SOPs and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components for marine engines, service parts, and assemblies using air and pneumatic tools.
• Set up, adjust, and changeover equipment with job‑specific tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with SOPs and plant safety rules.
• Perform inspections, identify out‑of‑tolerance conditions, and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues.
• Participate in training and cross‑training to support a flexible workforce.

As the Assembly Technician at Mercury Marine, you will use a variety of air and pneumatic tools to assemble components for marine engines, service parts, and assemblies, set‑up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools common to the particular job, maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and Plant Safety Rules, perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals, take appropriate action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate individuals when further action must be taken, collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues, participate in training and cross‑training to support flexible workforce needs.
