Job summary

The role emphasizes collaboration with peers and supervisors, set-up and changeover of equipment, inspections, and timely escalation of out‑of‑tolerance issues.

As an Assembly Technician you will join a dynamic team of the company's winning culture by supporting the Mercury Marine values of: Integrity, Customer Centricity, Product & Service Leadership, Sustainability, and Employee Engagement through the production of high quality inboard and outboard marine engines.

As the Assembly Technician at Mercury Marine, you will Use a variety of air and pneumatic tools to assembly components for marine engines, service parts, and assemblies Set-up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools common to the particular job Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and Plant Safety Rules Perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals Take appropriate action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate individuals when further action must be taken Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues. Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs.
