Job summary

Brunswick Corporation’s Mercury Marine division is seeking an Assembly Technician in Fond du Lac, WI. You will join a team focused on producing high-quality marine engines and components using air and pneumatic tools, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will set up equipment, perform inspections, and collaborate to meet production goals. The role also offers cross-training opportunities and growth within a global marine leader.

Qualifications

  • Assemble marine engine components using air and pneumatic tools.
  • Set up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment for the specific job.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area per SOPs and Plant Safety Rules.
  • Perform inspections at required intervals and address out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs.

Responsibilities

  • Use air and pneumatic tools to assemble components for marine engines and service parts.
  • Set up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with job-specific tooling.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in line with SOPs and safety rules.
  • Perform inspections as required and respond to out-of-tolerance findings.
  • Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to achieve production targets.
  • Participate in training and cross-training as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and Plant Safety Rules
  • Perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals
  • Take appropriate action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate individuals when further action must be taken
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues.
  • Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs.
