Job summary

Mercury Marine, headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is seeking an Assembly Tech II to join a driven team aligned with Brunswick’s values of integrity, customer centricity and sustainable leadership. You will help produce high-quality inboard/outboard marine engines, using air and pneumatic tools, while maintaining a safe, efficient work area.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to SOPs, and ongoing training to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with SOPs and safety rules.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components for marine engines using air/pneumatic tools.
• Set up, adjust, and changeover equipment as required for the job.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area per SOPs, work rules and plant safety rules.
• Perform inspections at required intervals per classification and SOPs.
• Take action when out-of-tolerance conditions occur and notify at the appropriate level.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues.
• Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs.

Position Overview

As an Assembly Tech II, you will join a dynamic team of the company's winning culture by supporting the Mercury Marine values of: Integrity, Customer Centricity, Product & Service Leadership, Sustainability, and Employee Engagement through the production of high quality inboard and outboard marine engines.

Essential Functions

• Use a variety of air and pneumatic tools to assemble components for marine engines, service parts, and assemblies
• Set-up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools common to the particular job
• Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and Plant Safety Rules
• Perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals
• Take appropriate action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate individuals when further action must be taken
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues.
• Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs.

The hiring rate for this position is $26.74, hourly.
