Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Hesston, KS is seeking an Assembly worker for 1st shift (6:30am-3pm). Pay starts at $18.21/hour. You will assemble components, read operation standards, and handle parts with hand and power tools in a production environment.

You should be a team player with strong verbal communication, able to follow directions and meet safety and quality targets. Long periods of standing and noisy conditions are expected at the assembly plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or production environments preferred.
• Ability to read operation standards or blueprints when needed.
• Ability to move and lift parts using hand tools or power tools.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and meeting exact objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/fit parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies on bench or floor.
• Read and understand operation standards, such as blueprints when needed.
• Move parts manually and assemble using hand tools or portable power tools.
• Maintain safety, quality and achieve specific objectives in work.
