Stanley Black & Decker in Hesston, KS is seeking an Assembly worker for 1st shift (6:30am-3pm). Pay starts at $18.21/hour. You will assemble components, read operation standards, and handle parts with hand and power tools in a production environment.

You should be a team player with strong verbal communication, able to follow directions and meet safety and quality targets. Long periods of standing and noisy conditions are expected at the assembly plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or production environments preferred.
• Ability to read operation standards or blueprints when needed.
• Ability to move and lift parts using hand tools or power tools.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and meeting exact objectives.

What You’ll Do

As an Assembly worker you’ll be part of our production team located in Hesston, KS. You’ll get to:

• Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies at a bench or on the floor. (Approx. 60%)

• Read and understand operation standards, as needed, such as blueprints. (Approx. 15%)

• Manual movement and lifting by fastening parts together by hand and/or using hand tools and portable power tools. (Approx. 25%)

• Focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific/exact objectives
