Job summary

Kelly is hiring motivated Assembly Workers to join our production team in Hampshire Township, IL. The assembler will build quality products by following blueprints and work instructions, inspect parts, and perform in-process testing. The role offers a first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and pay of $18–$20 per hour.

You should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and reliable with good attendance. You will use hand, air, and power tools, read blueprints, and document production activities.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand, air, and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50–75 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to specifications, blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions.
• Inspect parts and components before assembly and identify unacceptable materials.
• Perform in-process testing to ensure products meet established quality standards.
• Assist the Line Foreman as needed to support production goals.
• Complete production documentation, including material move tickets, inspection reports, in-process tags, reject tags, rework orders, and corrective action reports.
• Learn and utilize company computer systems for production documentation.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
