Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure adherence to safety policies, monitor performance, and drive efficient production against schedules.

The role requires coordinating with QA, Maintenance, and Materials, supervising 3–12 staff, and maintaining accurate production records. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience.
• Must read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures; possess basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work with computers and basic shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustments of machines.
• Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Maintain time and production records and supervise 3 to 12 employees in assembly.
• Promote safety, coach development, and ensure compliance with all policies.
