Job summary

Hillphoenix is hiring a Team Lead - Assembly in South Chesterfield, VA to guide a manufacturing team within our Operations area. You will coordinate daily activities, drive Lean and 6S practices, and lead problem-solving groups to improve safety, quality, and delivery performance.

The role requires High School diploma or GED, 3+ years related experience, and basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook) with AS400 knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Basic computer experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, basic AS400 software knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct manufacturing teams.
• Implement SQDC and Lean initiatives.
• Conduct daily huddle/team meetings focused on area performance.
• Sustain continuous improvement through Standard Work and Built-in Quality.
• Coordinate material scheduling and kitting to ensure no line shortages.
• Maintain 6S and operator PM checklists.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Drive on-time delivery to customers and internal departments.
