Job summary

Westlake, OH based Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead line leads and assembly personnel. You’ll drive continuous improvement, ensure safety adherence, and manage productivity metrics across the department.

You will coordinate planning, engage with cross-functional teams, and implement process changes to reduce costs and improve delivery and quality. Strong leadership and blueprint-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Sciences, Engineering, or Business Administration desired, but not required, relevant industry and job experience a must.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in operations including medical or industrial assembly activities as well as supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years experience with implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Must possess a high degree of personal integrity and outstanding work ethic.
• Knowledge of medical and industrial assembly, testing, materials, quality programs, safety programs, and resource management.
• Understanding of basic production planning and inventory concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line leads and assembly personnel.
• Understand production planning concepts and drive improvements across departments.
• Lead continuous improvement using lean tools, shop floor metrics, and cost/safety initiatives.
• Plan, assign, direct work, appraise performance, and address employee issues.
• Coordinate manpower to meet changing conditions and schedules.
• Develop and implement safety programs and training.
• Collaborate with planning, quality, purchasing, assembly and design staff to ensure efficient production methods.
• Review methods of operation and ISO procedures; maintain effective training.
