Job summary

Western/Scott Fetzer Company, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking an Assembly Supervisor in Westlake, OH. The role oversees line leads and assembly personnel, drives process improvements, and ensures safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, knowledge of production planning, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing operations experience including supervision.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and typical office software.
• Ability to train and coach employees and lead by example.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line leads and assembly personnel.
• Understand production planning concepts and drive improvements.
• Lead safety, quality, cost, delivery, and 5S on the shop floor.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance and address issues.
• Coordinate manpower to meet changing conditions and schedules.
• Develop and implement methods to reduce setup times and costs.
• Collaborate with planning, quality, purchasing, and design staff.
