Job summary

Autokiniton Bardstown in Bardstown, KY is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our full-time manufacturing team. You will inspect components and assemblies for quality, measure parts, and perform first piece inspections under supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to complete visual quality inspections
• Ability to operate production line equipment including a weld tool and rivet gun
• Ability to work as a team member
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

Responsibilities

• Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination.
• Inspects parts for quality defects and measures parts to meet specifications.
• Performs first piece inspection of set-up parts as required by instructions and supervisor.
• Collaborate with Assembly Supervisor and team to maintain quality standards.
