Job summary

Wastequip is hiring an Assembly Operator 1 in Mt Sterling, KY. The role involves safely assembling products according to work orders and blueprints, packing finished goods, and ensuring quality with inspections.

The shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Candidates should be 18+, able to lift 25–50 lbs, and willing to pass EHS training. Forklift experience is a plus in this role.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift between 25-50 lbs.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Previous Assembly experience is preferred.
• Be able to pass EHS training.

Responsibilities

• Receives and interprets work orders and specifications to assemble and pack product components.
• Assembles sub-assemblies and final product kits per instructions and customer orders.
• Operates safely in a factory setting and uses PPE as required.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs basic maintenance checks on tools and equipment.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
