Job summary

Flex-N-Gate in Battle Creek, MI is hiring an Assembly Operator for 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am). You will load components, run machine, complete production and inspection reports, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Requirements include about 1 year of manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, ability to work in teams or independently, and basic math including percentages and fractions. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Assembly Operator- 3rd Shift

Work hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Work a straight 8 hours shift with a paid lunch

Pay rate starts at $20.55/ hour with scheduled pay increase at 3 months and 6 months of employment.

Additional $0.50 shift differential for 3rd shift

Eligible for monthly attendance bonus first full month of employment

Assembly Operator will be responsible for

• Loading components into machine or onto conveyor system
• Will complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Hourly inspection of parts
• Packing finished product various totes/ bins

Requirements

• Prefer 1 year of previous manufacturing experience in fast paced environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Perform basic math skills- including working with percentages and fractions
• Ability to use and understand quality gauges, quality fixtures
• Ability to work in a factory environment- standing, bending. Lifting up to 25 lbs
