Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow written and visual work instructions.
• Ability to use and read calipers, micrometers, and tape measures in both English and metric units.
• Ability to use go/no-go gauges.
• Understanding of decimal places and basic numerical measurements.
• Ability to operate a scale to complete weight counts.
• Ability to operate hand-controlled and foot-pedal-controlled equipment.
• Ability to operate automated equipment using a PC controller.
• Familiarity with common hand tools, such as wrenches, an X-Acto knife, and a hammer.
• Ability to hold components steady while positioning them in operating equipment.
• Ability to count accurately up to 100.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut cable to specified lengths.
• Attach assembly components to cable.
• Load and operate crimping equipment to secure assembly components.
• Operate metal forming, die-casting, and hydroforming equipment.
• Change machine dies at the start of new production runs.
• Perform visual quality inspections on work-in-progress and finished products.
• Measure products to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Operate pull-test equipment.
• Complete first-piece inspections.
• Record production and quality checks on production logs.
• Package completed work-in-progress and finished products.
