Solenoid Solutions, a Control Devices company, seeks an Assembly Operator to set up lines, operate fixtures, measure parts, and maintain quality on the shop floor. You will use hand and power tools, soldering and inspection equipment as required, while following safety rules and sustaining a clean, organized area.
The role requires basic math, gauge reading, and the ability to communicate with teammates. Eligibility for overtime and a non-exempt hourly schedule are included.
The Assembly Operator is responsible for setting up assembly lines, producing high-quality parts, meeting established efficiency, machine utilization, and scrap goals, measuring parts, and understanding equipment start-up, operation, adjustment, and shut-down procedures. The position follows plant and safety requirements, maintains a clean and organized work area, and contributes positively to the team.
While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to finger, handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is also required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
