Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT seeks a Team Leader, Assembly Operations to supervise the 1st shift assembly team. You will ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety policies while coordinating with cross-functional groups to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Moderate physical demand; lifting up to 25 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Plan manpower needs and fill deficiencies with supervisor guidance.
• Monitor production processes to ensure work orders are followed and takt time is met.
• Coordinate with other groups to optimize workflow and staffing.
• Support budget development and cost control through efficient manpower use.
• Lead or participate in process improvements for quality, cost, and scheduling.
• Maintain safe work environment and comply with ISO and SPC standards.
• Interview, hire, and develop department staff per policy.
• Travel as required.
