Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is seeking a Group Leader Assembly Operations to supervise a manufacturing assembly team on first shift. You will oversee production scheduling, tooling, and process improvements under the Team Leader, ensuring quality and cost targets are met.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, familiarity with schematics/blueprints, and a safety-focused approach. This is an on-site position with multiple responsibilities and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of related experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Basic math skills and ability to read charts and measuring equipment.
• Moderate physical demand including lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30a–3:00p.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and supervise functions in Manufacturing Operations Group to manufacture and deliver products per requirements.
• Perform assembly and test operations, operate equipment and oversee quality and scheduling.
• Manage program budgets, costs to complete and compliance with quality systems.
• Ensure metrics tracking quality, schedule, cost and lean enterprise application.
• Provide input on employee performance, hiring and training.
• Lead process improvement efforts to enhance program quality, cost and scheduling.
• Coordinate with lean activities and ensure safety/environmental standards.
