Job summary

General Plastics & Composites LP is seeking a Sr. Lead – Assembly to drive daily production across Flow and Flex lines, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will lead frontline teams, remove barriers, and connect operations with leadership.

The role requires 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to optimization. You will champion continuous improvement and work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Strong background in production scheduling, material handling and inventory control.
• Experience operating manufacturing and specialty equipment.
• Experience analyzing production data and implementing process improvements.
• Background in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to step into hands-on production roles when required.

Responsibilities

• Own daily execution of the production schedule to meet output and delivery targets.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to maximize throughput and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, and uptime performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to meet performance expectations.
• Hold employees accountable to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Drive immediate resolution of quality issues to minimize scrap and rework.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
