Assembly Maintenance Technician
SUMMARY
The Assembly Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains machinery and equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, and production machines. Responsibilities include cleaning photoelectric equipment, rebuilding escapements and air cylinders, repairing pneumatics and electrical faults, adjusting feeding tracks, replacing motors and belts, troubleshooting electric motors, and developing cost-saving improvements.

All employees must act safely and responsibly, ensuring their own safety and that of others. Safety and environmental stewardship are shared responsibilities, with management providing resources and conducting reviews to ensure effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates will have 1-3 months of related experience or training, and must pass a skills assessment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1-3 months related experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to interpret safety and operational documents, write reports, and communicate effectively.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic calculations and apply algebra and geometry concepts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to understand and execute instructions, and handle problems involving multiple variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires standing, walking, handling, climbing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and good vision. Accommodations can be made for disabilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work involves typical manufacturing environment conditions, with accommodations available for disabilities.
COMMENTS
Must work mandatory overtime; schedule exceeds 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week.
