Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Permanent Assembly Line Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth operation of our assembly lines. You will be involved in the production of our high-quality products and will have the opportunity to utilize your technical skills to maintain and enhance our manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and managing the assembly line operations, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Performing routine maintenance on assembly line equipment, including motors and wiring systems, to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on the assembly line, promptly addressing any problems that arise to minimize downtime.
  • Assisting in the installation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring they are properly wired and operational.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to implement new production processes and improve existing ones.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and safety standards, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Documenting and reporting on assembly line operations, providing updates and feedback to management.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assembly Line Technician or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with motors and wiring systems.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and adhering to company policies.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a technical field or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
