Atterro is seeking an Assembly Technician for Hillsboro, OR to assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools, following precise instructions. Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical components, modules, and subassemblies.
  • Perform cable and wire harness assembly, component installation, and hand soldering as required.
  • Conduct testing, inspections, helium leak testing, troubleshooting, and quality control activities.
  • Support semiconductor manufacturing operations, including assembly, testing, packaging, and production processes.
  • Ensure products meet engineering specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and bench equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certificate, vocational training, Associate degree, or equivalent technical education preferred.
  • Training in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, electronics, manufacturing technology, or related fields is a plus.

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly within a manufacturing, production, or cleanroom environment.
  • Experience with cable assembly, wire harness assembly, component installation, and hand soldering preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Experience performing inspections, quality verification, helium leak testing, module testing, or subassembly testing preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic manufacturing software.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Lift and move materials up to 30 pounds independently; heavier items with assistance.
  • Perform precise hand and finger movements for detailed assembly work.
  • Visual acuity required to inspect, test, and assemble small components.
  • Ability to safely climb ladders when necessary and work in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment while wearing PPE.
