Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is seeking an Assembly Technician to build aerospace structural sections from parts and subassemblies, following blueprints with hand and power tools. You will install units, fasten components, drill, trim, and verify fits against engineering specs in a busy assembly area.
The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to read work instructions. Prior aerospace assembly experience is preferred; training on safety procedures and 5-S is provided.

Our experience and capabilities span multiple segments of an aircraft, including the engine pylon, struts, wing box, wings, wheel well, and the interior. Our success is based on utilizing proprietary manufacturing techniques to manufacture high quality complex parts through cost effective production.

The Assembly tech assembles aerospace structural sections from parts, subassemblies and components independently and efficiently.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individuals must stand for much of the workday. May work at different workstations as production needs require, or change from one station to another during assembly process. This position may require overtime and shift changes. Job functions on and around mechanized equipment will present the need for alertness, accuracy and safety awareness. Work activities involve frequent combinations of walking, pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and carrying and standing for extended periods. Work requires the ability to see, hear and smell in order to detect problems. The work requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds. $23.00 per hour to $27.75 per hour
Fri/Sat/Sun, 5:00am - 5:30pm (see below for shift premium and shift differential pay)
