Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is seeking a Deburr Technician to operate in a machine shop environment, meeting customer specifications with deburr tools such as guns and pencil grinders. The role requires basic Windows OS tasks and a responsible, detail-oriented mindset.

The candidate should have a minimum of one year on-the-job experience, good communication, and the ability to follow instructions while wearing required safety gear.

Qualifications

• One year on-the-job experience preferred
• Completion of aptitude test during the interview process

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, understands and meets customer requirements (e.g., BAC 5300 and BAC 5730).
• Uses technician tools to meet customer specifications (e.g., deburr guns, pencil grinders).
• Follows all safety guidelines and uses required safety equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

*This position offers level 1 - Journey Lvl. Wage scale posted reflects through level 1 - level 3.

What will my responsibilities include?

• With minimal supervision understands and is able to meet customer requirements, such as BAC 5300 and BAC 5730.
• Uses Technician tools such as deburr guns, pencil grinders, etc. to meet customer specifications.
• Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates a good attitude toward work and arrives on time for start of shift.
• Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
• Communicates well verbally and in writing.
• Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity.

• Ability to perform basic functions with MS Windows-based computer operating systems, such as opening and closing files

Physical Demands:

Work requires the ability to see, hear and smell in order to detect problems. The work requires the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Employees are required to wear hearing protection and safety glasses at all times in the work area. • The Deburr Technician works in the machine shop environment throughout the workday; this environment may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc.
• Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives, and other chemicalsmay occur
• The Deburr Technician is required to wear hearing protection, safety glasses, and dust mask at all times in the work area
• Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required

Salary Offering:

$23.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour

Nights: M-TH, 4:30pm - 3:0am

Weekends: Fri/Sat/Sun - 5:00pm - 4:30am (see below for shift premium and shift differential pay)
