Job summary

Amphenol Printed Circuit Board Technology is seeking an Assembly Group Leader to oversee daily operations across stamping, solder and SMT, mechanical assembly, outlining, beadline/encapsulation, and conformal coat processes. The role ensures that all cell members complete their work accurately and swiftly.

You will assign tasks, manage workflow to meet deadlines and revenue goals, and collaborate with engineering to improve yields and reduce scrap.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Proven leadership abilities and prior group leader experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook/Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to assemblers and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Prioritize and direct workflow to meet schedules and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve yield and reduce scrap/rework.
• Cross-train within the cell for coverage across equipment and processes.
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate product movement across cells.
• Foster a positive, teamwork-oriented work environment.
