Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking an experienced Assembly and Integration Technician. You will build production and prototype electronic assemblies such as chassis, racks, servers, SCBs, and I/O panels, and complete RMA repair work to support Customer Service.

Responsibilities include soldering and reworking, wiring and harness assembly, and material handling from Inventory or suppliers to production.

Qualifications

• Experience soldering wires and/or printed circuit boards.
• Experience assembling chassis including torque tools and Loctite.
• Ability to work with small parts (0402) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus or track of material.
• Experience with building cable harnesses and wire routing.

• Complete RMA (Return Material Authorization) assembly and repair work to support Customer Service


• Perform regular soldering and reworking of previously assembled products as required; sometimes extensive work required in this area.


• Assemble and label wires and wire harnesses per cable specifications.


• Assist in material handling as received from Inventory or Direct from Suppliers and as supplied to the production area.

Experience And Skills

Preferred Skills And Experience

• IPC solder certified


• Lead-free solder experience


• Knowledge of test equipment such as DMMs


• Detail oriented and organized


• Track record of working in a team environment, ability to maintain a clean and well-organized work area, maintain lab notebooks and work with Engineering and others in a positive, proactive manner


• Experience with engineering drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions, and using MES in an ERP system

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education

Salary Range: $52,000 - 56,160
