Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. seeks an entry-level Electrical Technician to support fabrication, installation, and testing of cables, harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies for training devices.

You will work from engineering drawings and diagrams to ensure accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ideal candidates have a High School/GED, up to 2 years’ experience, and are comfortable with basic tools, light soldering, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings, wire lists and diagrams to build assemblies.
• Must be able to read and interpret wire lists and diagrams.
• Experience with basic hand tools and soldering is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate cables and harnesses per wire lists, diagrams and drawings.
• Install cables and harnesses in training devices per drawings.
• Wire electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Perform continuity tests on cables, harnesses and assemblies.
• Evaluate and suggest changes to engineering drawings as required.
• Light soldering tasks.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Technician to support the fabrication, installation, and testing of cables, harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies for our training devices. In this hands-on role, you will work directly from engineering drawings, wire lists, and diagrams to build and integrate high-quality electrical components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to project requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong technical craftsmanship, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a dynamic, team-focused environment.

• Fabricate Cables and Harnesses per wire list, diagrams and drawings
• Installation of cables and harnesses in training devices per drawings
• Wire electro-mechanical assemblies
• Perform continuity tests on cables, harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Evaluate and suggest changes and improvements to engineering drawings as required
• Lite Soldering

Experience and Skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists., and wire diagrams
• Ability to use Hand Tools, Crimp Tool and Insertion Tools, Soldering Tools

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 1+ years of electrical experience
• IPC-620
