Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Mechanical Technician to read engineering drawings and parts lists, use a range of hand tools and measurement instruments, and assemble electromechanical assemblies.

The role involves light fabrication for prototyping and experience with basic metalworking machines such as shear, press brake, and milling/lathe. Pipe bending is also part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
• Use hand tools, Calipers, Helicoil insertion tools, Clecos, squares, drills, taps, safety wire pliers, ratchets, wrenches.
• Assemble moderately complex electromechanical assemblies.
• Light fabrication for prototyping.
• Machine experience with Shear, Press Brake, manual Milling/Lathe.
