Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Monroe, WI, is seeking an assembler to join the shop floor team. You will read assembly prints, gather parts, and fasten components using various fasteners while operating pneumatic and manual tools. This role requires standing, handling parts, and reporting issues to the lead.

The position offers 1st shift with opportunities for growth within a growing manufacturing group and a comprehensive benefits package upon hire and beyond.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret assembly blueprints and BOMs.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Regularly lift/move up to 45 lbs without assistance.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools.

ASSEMBLER

Position

Assembles metal products, partially or completely, working at a bench or on shop floor by performing duties as assigned.

Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly prints and bills of material.
• Gathers and positions materials and parts according to Assembly documentation or verbal instruction.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Uses and operates various pneumatic, electrical, and manual hand tools.
• Reports any issues with product or equipment to the department lead.

Qualification

• Read and execute instructions as found on blueprints.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
• Perform basic math.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. without assistance.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
