Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Monroe, WI, is seeking a dedicated Assembler for 2nd shift. You will assemble metal products at a bench or shop floor by following assembly prints and BOMs, and you will read tape measures and perform basic math.

You will use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools to fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners, and report issues to the lead as needed.

ASSEMBLER

Position

Assembles metal products, partially or completely, working at a bench or on shop floor by performing duties as assigned.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly prints and bills of material.
• Gathers and positions materials and parts according to Assembly documentation or verbal instruction.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Uses and operates various pneumatic, electrical, and manual hand tools.
• Reports any issues with product or equipment to the department lead.

Qualification

• Read and execute instructions as found on blueprints.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
• Perform basic math.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. without assistance.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
