Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Electronic Circuitry/Parts Assembler I/II/III in Covina, CA. The role involves assembling electronic components from prints, with opportunities for higher-level tasks such as delicate placement and wire bonding. Soldering and small-part handling are integral.

Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic or electromechanical assembly preferred.
  • Hand soldering experience preferred.
  • Soldering certification is a plus.
  • Experience with EB welding and/or brazing is a plus.
  • Able to read and work from technical prints and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various assembly operations on electronic components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies from prints and work instructions.
  • Higher-level assemblers may perform delicate placement, wire bonding, and hand soldering of small components.
  • Use soldering irons, crimping tools, and other tooling as required.
  • Perform rework requiring similar assembly operations.

Job description

Electronic Circuitry/Parts Assembler I/II/III

Pay: $18–$24 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Hours: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

General Statement of Duties

Perform a variety of assembly operations and tasks on electronic or electromechanical components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Perform complex and difficult assembly tasks while working from established prints, drawings, and work instructions.

Higher-level assemblers may perform delicate placement and alignment, wire bonding, and hand soldering of small components. Use soldering irons, crimping tools, and other special tooling as required to perform assigned tasks.

  • Performing rework requiring similar assembly operations.
  • Working with very small components accurately and consistently on a repetitive basis.
  • Regular use of a microscope for assembly and inspection.
  • Following established assembly procedures, prints, and drawings.
  • Maintaining attention to detail and quality throughout the assembly process.
