Job summary

EZG Manufacturing in Ohio is seeking a part-time assembler to support current and upcoming welding-related opportunities. Your role involves assembling parts to high quality standards while following work instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The position requires following SOPs and safety protocols, performing quality checks, and collaborating with teammates to meet daily production goals. Rotate across stations and maintain a safe, organized work area per 5S guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and inspect finished assemblies for defects to meet specifications.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols throughout the assembly process.
• Identify and report defective materials, parts, or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Package and label finished products for shipment or the next production stage.
• Rotate through stations to support production needs.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and all workplace safety guidelines.

Primary Purpose

The part time assembler will be responsible for ensuring that parts and components are properly assembled to the highest quality standard. The assembler follows work instructions and can work both alone and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and inspect finished assemblies for defects, ensuring products meet specifications and tolerances
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols throughout the assembly process
• Identify and report defective materials, parts, or equipment malfunctions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S or similar standards
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines
• Package and label finished products for shipment or the next stage of production
• Rotate through different stations or tasks as production needs require
• Adhere to PPE requirements and all workplace safety guidelines
