Job summary

Penn Metal Stamping, Inc. is seeking a part-time Assembly Operator to support our stamping operations. You will assemble components using manual and machine-assisted processes while ensuring quality and production efficiency.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, recording daily production and quality data, and maintaining a clean, safe work area with effective communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus but not required.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers or other measuring equipment is a plus.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Basic math skills including decimals, fractions, and English/metric measurements.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs. and standing for long periods.

We are a progressive stamping manufacturer seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assembly Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role will perform assembly of components using manual and machine-assisted processes while ensuring consistent quality and production efficiency. This is a part-time position with flexibility to work out a consistent schedule that fits your availability and our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and machine-assisted assembly of components using manual and machine-assisted processes
• Inspect finished and in-process parts for quality and consistency
• Follow work instructions and established quality and safety procedures
• Complete daily production and quality records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, or other measuring equipment is a plus
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn

• Comfortable sitting for extended periods and standing or moving as needed throughout the workday
