Job summary

Qualifications

  • No minimum experience is required; however, 6 months of manufacturing/assembling experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Fits parts together according to prescribed instructions and quality standards.
  • Operates hand tools as needed to complete the assembly process.
  • Maintains production records as required.

Job Summary

Assembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Completes work area setup
  • Fits parts together according to prescribed instructions and quality standards
  • Operates hand tools as needed to complete the assembly process
  • Stacks completed products according to established procedures; if required, may cover, label, band components
  • Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
  • Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
  • Maintains production records as required
  • Checks materials and finished products for compliance with standards
  • Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
  • Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required

  • Working knowledge of basic math preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Hourly/Salary Pay Range

$18.00–$19.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living.

Bonus/Incentive Pay
  • For sales positions: The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on customer account classification and is calculated based on collected gross profit.
  • For salaried bonus positions: Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
  • For hourly positions with incentive pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, employee referral bonuses, and a discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance.
