Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assembling a range of components into finished goods across production lines under supervision.
  • Operating wafer fab equipment in a clean room production environment.
  • Manually manipulating wafers and small devices to load fixtures and process equipment.
  • Performing basic measurements and math related to tolerances and dimensions.
  • Conducting in-process visual inspections, with or without microscopes, per requirements.
  • Documenting all work on inspection reports and customer travelers.
  • Performing various dimensional inspections using gauges, verniers, and micrometers.
  • Collaborating with supervisors and team leads to meet production goals.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour (depends on shift)
Shifts: 1st Shift; Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3:30pm - 1:00 am

What's a typical day as an Assembly Worker? You'll be:
  • Assembling a range of components into finished goods across one or more production lines under the direction of Production Team Leaders/Supervisors
  • Operating a variety of wafer fab equipment in a clean room production environment
  • Manually manipulating fragile wafers and working with small devices to load fixtures and process equipment
  • Performing basic measurements and math calculations related to tolerances and dimensions
  • Conducting in-process visual inspections, both with and without microscopes, in line with established requirements
  • Accurately documenting all work performed on inspection reports and customer travelers
  • Performing various dimensional inspections using gauges, dimensional inspection systems, verniers, and micrometers
  • Collaborating with supervisors and team leads to ensure production goals and standards are met
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have at least 6 months of experience in the medical device industry and manufacturing (required)
  • Have at least 6 months of experience working in a clean room environment using a microscope (required)
  • Are proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Are able to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and lift up to 10 pounds frequently (occasionally up to 50 pounds)
