Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Andover, MA is seeking an entry-level General Assembler for a 12-month W2 contract in the medical device sector. The role runs on first shift, 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, with a 40-hour week, and requires high attention to detail and teamwork.

You will fabricate, assemble, test, and package medical devices, follow SOPs, and perform basic quality inspections. Must be able to read English, perform simple math, and adapt to rotating tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• More than two years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Effective communication that coworkers and supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications in English and perform basic math.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools such as microscopes.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

Qualification & Skills

• More than two years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.

• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
