Job summary

Emerge is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our production team in Ohio. You will assemble products to specifications using blueprints, BOMs, and work orders, while maintaining quality for raw materials and finished goods.

You’ll operate hand and power tools, read instructions in English, and help train new teammates. The role runs 5am–3:30pm on weekdays with overtime possible on Saturdays, offering stable hours and room to grow.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of assembly/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read work instructions in English.
• Strong math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Detail-oriented with a quality focus.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our production team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling products to specifications using work orders, blueprints, and BOMs. You will use a variety of tools, maintain high production standards, and ensure the quality of both raw materials and finished products. Shift Hours

5am to 3:30pm - Monday - Friday. Overtime on Saturdays as needed!

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to blueprints, drawings, BOMs, and work orders
• Utilize both hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Inspect and identify components needed for assembly
• Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products
• Meet production standards and quality expectations
• Assist with the training and mentoring of new team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience in assembly or manufacturing
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
• Strong basic math skills: able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to lift, bend, push/pull, and reach, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on maintaining quality standards
• HSD/GED Required
