Job summary

One-Cycle Control in Irvine, CA is seeking a production technician to assemble and test electronic and electro-mechanical components, perform quality checks, and manage parts handling.

The role involves following work orders and drawings, using hand tools and test equipment, and supporting production and R&D areas. Must be able to lift 50 lb and pass background/drug screening. On-site position in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test switches, components, electro-mechanical assemblies, PCB assemblies, enclosures, wiring harnesses, subsystems, and systems.
• Perform quality control checks on produced items.
• Handle parts picking and kitting for production needs.
• Maintain inventory and perform maintenance of inventory records.
• Keep production and R&D areas organized and clean.
• Coordinate receiving of goods and movement of materials for production.
• Coordinate shipping of goods to customers or internal teams.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of parts as needed.

Job description:

• 1. Assemble and test switches, components, electro-mechanical assemblies, PCB assemblies, enclosures, wiring harnesses, subsystems, and systems etc.


• 2. Quality control


• 3. Parts picking/kitting


• 4. Perform tasks for inventory maintenance


• 5. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the production area and the R&D area.


• 6. Coordinate the receiving of goods and move materials as necessary to support production.


• 7. Coordinate the shipping of goods


• 8. Assist with Pickup and Delivery of parts on occasion

Qualification:

A high school diploma and experience in electronic soldering, assembly, and testing, or a related technical background. Ability to read work orders, follow production drawings, written/verbal instructions, and sample assemblies. Experience with electronic instruments and mechanical hand tools. Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively, and carry out orders. Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, motivation, self-reliance, and honesty. Be able to carry 50 LB. US Citizenship or Green Card required.
