Job summary

SCRAM Systems in Sharonville, Ohio, is seeking an assembler to join our electronics manufacturing team. You will assemble, rework, and test assemblies and subassemblies following work orders and drawings.

The role emphasizes attention to quality, ability to use common tools, and clear communication across teams. You will work with transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, and other components on PCBs in a production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; 1–3 years related experience or training.
• 2 years related experience desired.
• Solid communication skills and ability to communicate across organizational levels.
• Practical electronics manufacturing skills and ability to use common tools.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow production drawings or verbal instructions.
• Troubleshoot and some module swapping to repair product.
• Position and align parts in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
• Screw, solder, cement, press fit, or join parts in place.
• Mount assembled components on a printed circuit board.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases.
• Assemble and attach hardware to assemblies.
• Perform go/no-go testing to ensure parts meet production specifications.

Job Summary: Assembles, reworks, and tests assemblies, subassemblies, components, products, or systems.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding assembly duties to be performed.
• Performs troubleshooting and some module swapping in order to repair product
• Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in a jig, fixture, or other holding device.
• Screws, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on a printed circuit board.
• Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases.
• Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, straps, and switches, to assemblies.
• Performs network go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills

• Solid communication skills and ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Must have solid practical skills in electronics manufacturing and the ability to use common tools
• Understanding of assembly process

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or training.
• 2 years related experience desired
