Job summary

PrideStaff in Lockport, Illinois is seeking General Assemblers for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position is 1st shift, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a starting wage of $15.22 per hour.

This temp-to-hire opportunity includes weekly pay, insurance options, and PTO accrual. Responsibilities include assembling components, keeping work areas clean, and following detailed safety and quality instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Willingness to wear steel-toe shoes.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and work OT as needed.
• Consent to background check and drug testing.

PrideStaff is currently seeking numerous General Assemblers for a company located in Lockport, Illinois. Experience can range from no experience/entry-level to mid-level assembly. We are looking for candidates who are organized, can work in a fast-paced environmentand enjoy working in groups.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Assemblers perform a variety of tasks that are necessary to the production process and support in the manufacturing of component parts and products for distribution. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment PREFERRED
• MUST be willing to wear steel toe shoes
• Must be able to stand for 8-hours, and work OT as needed
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and a drug test
