PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known logistics company located in Grayslake, IL. We are hiring Assemblers who are team players, versatile, and dependable! Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM with training on the 1st shift.

Pay is $18.70 per hour. This role involves operating high-speed automated assembly machines, performing repairs and adjustments, and ensuring quality checks per the QIP.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision after training.
• Team environment experience or ability to collaborate.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control.
• Understanding of basic computer functions.
• Continuous standing, moving and reaching with arms and hands.
• Frequently walks, bends, lifts and carries items.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed automated assembly machines safely.
• Perform repairs and adjustments including set-ups and changeovers.
• Conduct quality checks per QIP and document measurements.
• Perform preventive and routine machine maintenance.
• Adjust tooling and check alignment of components.
• Replace sensors, punches, dies, stock components, belts.
• Adjust housing feed per standards.
• Use height indicators, gauges, and visual checks.
• Identify machine faults, clear jams, restart production, and package finished product.
