Job summary

NextDeavor in Irvine, CA is seeking an Assembly/Tester B to join our onsite first-shift team (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM). You will assemble and test products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery targets, supporting production and quality teams under direct supervision.

You will interpret blueprints and specifications, perform basic soldering, use hand and power tools, record test results, and participate in lean improvements to increase productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years soldering experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
• Vision screening required.
• At least 1 year general mechanical work experience.
• Ability to apply lean initiatives and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, and inspection measurement equipment
• Record test results on data forms and operate basic electrical equipment and flow meters
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, and quality directives
• Produce and inspect assemblies to customer and industry standards; assemble and test to specifications
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts and mix/clean finishing materials
• Identify and recommend opportunities for lean improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Maintain a FOD-free work area and ensure equipment calibration per schedule

Become a Key Player as an Assembler/Tester B

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

Pay Range

$25.60 - $32.00/hour
