Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a production assembler to perform a range of tasks from repetitive to complex assembly on electronic and mechanical modules. You will read diagrams, lay out parts, and use hand tools to build cables and subassemblies, while ensuring quality through inspections.

The role requires ability to interpret engineering drawings, operate safely for extended periods, and maintain careful attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in cable assembly, wire harness building, or related electronics manufacturing (or equivalent training).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wire lists, and assembly instructions.
  • Proficiency with hand tools (crimpers, strippers, soldering iron, cutters).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a production environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand/wrist motions.

Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in cable assembly, wire harness building, or related electronics manufacturing (or equivalent training).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wire lists, and assembly instructions.

Desired Skills
  • Proficiency with hand tools - Experience using wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, and soldering irons to accurately terminate and assemble cables.
  • Ability to read technical drawings - Comfortable interpreting blueprints, wire lists, and work instructions to correctly build cable assemblies.
  • Strong attention to detail - Ability to consistently produce clean, accurate workmanship with correct wire routing, terminations, and labeling.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $35600.00 - $66000.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
