Lockheed Martin is seeking a hands-on assembler to manufacture, assemble and refurbish aircraft parts and structures. You will align components on jigs, drill precise holes, and perform fitting, filing, and repairs per blueprints and shop orders.

Performs a variety of operations to manufacture, assemble and/or refurbish various aircraft parts and structures. Assemblies can require controlled tooling as well as build to print. Tasks include aligning parts on jigs using both templates and fixtures. Drill close tolerance holes. Performs part-fitting operations such as minor filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working. Measures parts with a variety of methods to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs. Works from blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders. Monitors and verifies quality and develops corrective action. Performs corrosion inspection and repair per engineering requirements. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager as directed. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Pay rate for this position is $22.64 - $37.74 per hour.
