Job summary

Taco, Inc. is hiring an Assembler Tester I for2nd shift to perform basic assembly and testing of various products on-site. You will follow Manufacturing Process Sheets and Bills of Materials, maintain materials, and update the ERP system after work is completed.

The role requires physical dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Regular safety meetings and on-site training are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Competent to operate computer and complete basic data entry in systems.
• Must learn responsibilities and adhere to production procedures.
• Proficient and able to attain MPS training sign-off within 90 days.
• Physical dexterity to manipulate hand and power tools.
• Ability to push, pull, lift and move materials up to 30 lbs (hoists for heavier items).
• Able to perform repetitive work with constant alertness and standing.
• Attention to detail is essential for success.
• Capable of following verbal and/or written instructions.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team.
• Well organized.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and products according to MPS and BOM.
• Review ERP to determine orders to process daily.
• Maintain inventory for production orders.
• Operate basic equipment and hand tools as directed.
• Perform standard tests to verify tolerances and quality.
• Rotate between workstations as needed to meet production.
• Check teammates' work for accuracy and safety.
• Move materials using proper equipment and safety procedures.
• Ensure proper ERP updates with completed work.
• Report improper operations or faulty materials to supervision.
• Keep work area clean and equipment in good condition.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and wear PPE.
