The assembler will follow detailed work orders, operate grinders, presses, ovens, and sanding tools, and ensure components meet exact specs while maintaining safety and organization in the lab.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and small machinery.
• Detail-oriented with steady hands.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom devices based on work orders and prescriptions.
• Operate lab equipment such as grinders, presses, ovens, and sanding tools.
• Trim, shape, and finish components to precise specifications.
• Select and handle materials including plastics, foams, and adhesives.
• Perform quality checks to ensure fit, function, and durability standards are met.
