Job summary

Randstad USA in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking an entry-level assembler / component handler for short-term contracts. This hands-on role offers consistent pay and flexible shifts, ideal for candidates with little to no experience who are eager to learn basic manufacturing skills.

You’ll work on-site with supervision and pick up tasks quickly as assignments vary by site. Shifts run 06:00 AM to 06:15 PM, with dress code and equal opportunity employment details provided in the posting.

• Basic assembly: perform simple, non-complex assembly of components under direct supervision.
• Material preparation: count, sort, and organize materials and components, ensuring all necessary parts are available at the workstation.
• Inspection: perform basic visual inspections to ensure all parts are present and the assembly is complete before packaging.
• Packaging: assist with the final step of the process, including bagging, boxing, and labeling finished assembled products.
• Work readiness: quickly adapt to the requirements of various short-term mandates across different warehouse or assembly sites.
