Job summary

Randstad USA in Lebanon, TN is hiring for a manufacturing assembler role. You will perform high-volume assembly tasks on a production line, tend to semi-automatic machinery, and manage material flow to ensure continuous output.

The position requires adherence to SOPs, accurate defect reporting, and a proactive approach to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude is expected for handling assembly tasks.
• Ability to inspect products for quality and defects during production.
• Assemble products according to specified instructions and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• High-volume assembly: execute repetitive, high-speed tasks to meet quotas.
• Machine tending: operate semi-automatic assembly machinery and monitor cycles.
• Material flow: keep workstation stocked and stage finished products.
• Process adherence: follow SOPs to maintain uniform quality at high output.
• Defect reporting: identify defects or machine faults and report promptly.

Job description

Your responsibilities

• High-volume assembly: execute repetitive, high-speed assembly line tasks to meet demanding daily production quotas and throughput goals.


• Machine tending: operate and tend to semi-automatic assembly machinery, loading components and monitoring cycle progress.


• Material flow: ensure the workstation is constantly stocked with necessary components and stage finished product for the next process step (e.g., packaging).


• Process adherence: strictly follow all standard operating procedures (sops) and assembly steps to maintain uniform product quality across large volumes.


• Defect reporting: quickly identify and report any recurring component defects or machine faults that could slow down the assembly line.
