Job summary

Fresno Valves & Castings, Inc. in Selma, CA is seeking an Assembly worker for the fabrication shop. You will assemble metal components, read schematics, and support direct labor in the Fabrication Department.

The role requires safety discipline and teamwork in a noisy, heavy-industrial environment. Hours run 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with overtime as needed. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $18.50 per hour, bi-weekly payroll, and full-time status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Proficient in taking measurements and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to adapt to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to specifications.
• Read and understand schematics and blueprints.
• Position or align components manually or with hoists.
• Operate drill presses and punch presses.
• Conduct quality checks and test assemblies.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment.
