Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler III - Rework (AVC) for the 1st shift at the Arden, NC facility. The role involves winding, assembly, complex wiring, and final assembly of control equipment, following BOMs and schematics to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include wiring units per production orders, assisting in training, and maintaining a safe work environment. Must lift up to 35 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform ladder work.
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet, etc.

Responsibilities

• Winding, assembling, and performing wiring and copper operations to build sub-assemblies and final assemblies of control equipment.
• Check electrical/mechanical performance of completed assemblies and ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Prepare parts and materials, lay out and assemble from drawings and schematics, cut and prepare wires, and assist in training.
• Escalate issues promptly to leads or supervisor and maintain a safe, clean work area.
